Established in 1938 the company has grown over the last 70 years to become a leading name in London's refurbishment sector.
We are a medium-sized building contractor which enjoys a high work volume from the public sector. We combine regeneration, refurbishment, alterations and adaptions to existing buildings in the areas of social housing, office fit-out, educational establishments, historical buildings and estates. Our experience caters to both void and occupied properties, ranging from Local Authority housing to some of the most prestigious buildings in the City of London.
Based in Peckham, south east London, our Head Office provides a perfect facility from which to spearhead our operations. With a dedicated stores and yard and liveried vehicle fleet, we adapt to any situation and pride ourselves on making the more complex projects achievable. Standage has the ability to undertake a variety of work from a simple leaking tap to multi million pound regeneration schemes. We have an extensive range of experience which allows us to fulfill an array of requests.
Since 1999, we have been the main term contractor for Southwark Council's Major Void Programme carrying out various repairs and refurbishments to all types of properties. Developed from our experience here, we have recently added large scale security to our service list, securing clients' void properties from trespassers and squatters with our dedicated metal works division.
We have also completed a private residential scheme based in Enfield, with both properties successfully sold. The company seeks future development opportunities both in private or social housing arenas as a natural extension to our existing service portfolio.
We are accredited to Exor Management Services Limited and CHAS. We are also registered with Constructionline for prequalified construction services, the Federation of Master Builders and the NHBC as a registered builder.
