Working consecutively through ten areas across the estate over 52 weeks, this contract required the following works to 232 occupied dwellings:
- Renewal of all existing timber framed metal windows with aluminium-timber composite double-glazed windows to two- and three- storey houses
- renewal of roofs to front additions and dormer roofs
- renewal of all street front entrance doors
Original roofs formed in aluminium sheeting have been replaced in lead, much to resident and client satisfaction. One area required new Kalzip sheet metal roofing system.
The front entrance doors have been replaced with tri-laminated multi-secure doors with hardwood frames. These doors have 5-point locking systems to give utmost security.
