WOOLWICH TOWN HALL
Wellington Street, London, SE18 6PW
Client – The Royal Borough of Greenwich
This internal refurbishment project for the Royal Borough of Greenwich included the strip out and remodelling of an existing basement kitchen in the Grade II listed Woolwich Town Hall. Works included the building of a new office facility for the relocation of the Royal Borough of Greenwich’s Noise Pollution and Asbestos Team along with storage for Legal Services.
Together with blocking up former openings and the removal of existing concrete floor surfaces the space was cleared of existing finishes. Drainage routes were altered and services renewed and relocated.
New 2-hour fire rated screens were erected for the Legal Store and new ceilings, floors, kitchen and bathroom were added to give the space a much needed make over.
“We have been really pleased with the internal remodelling works completed by Standage on the Woolwich Town Hall. Particular Care was taken on this Grade II listed building by Paul Godsall and his team, who delivered this project on time and to budget.”
