Broomfield House Conservatory – Conservation work

Conservation work begins next week on the Grade II* listed Conservatory at Broomfield House in Palmers Green, North London. Working on behalf of London Borough of Enfield, Standage will completely refurbish the conservatory with its decorative timber and metal work, including specialist window winding gear which provides the original version of Climate Control. The conservatory is part of the Baroque water-gardens, one of only three in the UK (the others are Chatsworth and Powys Castle).
